Privacy Policy
MedReminder is a medication reminder app by DJUMP, MB. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what we don't collect.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information (optional). You can use MedReminder without an account. If you create one (email, Google, or Apple sign-in) — for example to share with a caregiver or use a second device — we store your email address and display name.
- Medication data. Medication names, dosages, schedules, refill dates, and dose logs that you enter into the app.
- Push notification token. Required to deliver medication reminders at your scheduled times (opt-in).
- Caregiver sharing. If you invite a caregiver, their email and the medications you choose to share with them.
- Device data. Anonymous analytics events (screen views, feature usage) used to improve the app.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- No payment or credit card information — all payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) via RevenueCat.
- No biometric or health record data.
- No location data.
- No camera or photo library access.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver medication reminders and refill alerts at your scheduled times.
- Authenticate your account and sync data across your devices.
- Enable caregiver sharing (Premium) when you explicitly invite a caregiver.
- Analyze anonymous usage to improve the app.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security (RLS) — only you can read your own rows. All traffic uses HTTPS. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Servers are hosted in the EU.
5. Data Retention — How Long We Keep Your Data
- Medication data, dose history and refill data. Kept for as long as your account exists. Nothing expires on a schedule: the History screen shows the last 14 days, but the entries behind it stay until you delete them or delete your account. Removing a medication in the app hides it and stops its reminders; its stored rows are erased when you delete your account.
- Account information and push notification token. Your email address, display name and push token are kept while your account exists. The token is replaced each time the app registers for reminders and goes with the account when it is deleted.
- Caregiver invitations and links. Kept until you or the caregiver revoke the access, or until you delete your account.
- Using the app without signing up. Your data is then stored against an anonymous account on our servers and kept on the same terms as above. An anonymous account cannot be recovered from another device, so delete your data in Settings before you remove the app.
- When you delete your account. Your medications, dose history, refill data and caregiver links are erased immediately from Settings → Delete Account. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days. Deleted rows can survive in our database provider's encrypted backups until those rotate out, up to 30 days.
- Anonymous analytics and crash reports. Not linked to your account, so deleting the account does not remove them. They are kept under our providers' retention schedules — Sentry deletes crash reports after 90 days — and PostHog holds only anonymous usage events.
- Subscription records. Held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies and our accounting obligations; we cannot delete them.
See how to delete your account for the full picture of what goes and what stays.
6. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
- RevenueCat — subscription management (does not access medication data).
- Apple / Google — OAuth sign-in and push notification delivery.
- Expo — push notification token relay.
- PostHog — anonymous product analytics.
- Vercel — cookieless website analytics (page views only).
- Sentry — crash reports and error diagnostics.
7. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Access all data associated with your account.
- Update or correct your information through the app.
- Export your medication history.

8. Children's Privacy
MedReminder is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
