Delete your account
You can delete your MedReminder account and your medication data at any time, either from inside the app or by email. There is no charge and no waiting list.
Option 1 — delete it in the app (immediate)
- Open MedReminder on your phone or tablet.
- Open the Profile tab and tap Settings.
- In the Account section, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when asked. The deletion happens straight away.
Option 2 — ask us by email
Write to start@djump.io from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my MedReminder account". If you use MedReminder without an account, tell us so and we will explain what to do — data you never signed in with is not linked to any email we can look up.
We complete email requests within 30 days, and normally within a few working days.
What is deleted
- Your medications, dosages, schedules and reminder times.
- Your dose history — every taken, skipped and missed entry.
- Refill tracking data (pill counts and refill dates).
- Caregiver invitations you sent, and any caregiver's access to your data.
This is permanent. We cannot restore it afterwards, so export your dose history from the History screen first if you want to keep a copy.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your sign-in itself. One DJUMP account can be used across several DJUMP apps. Deleting your MedReminder data removes your login, your email address and your display name too — unless the same login is still in use in another DJUMP app, in which case the login stays so that app keeps working, and only your MedReminder data is erased.
- Subscription records. If you subscribed to Premium, the purchase record lives with Apple, Google and our billing provider RevenueCat, not with us. We cannot delete it, and it is retained under their policies and our accounting obligations. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings first.
- Encrypted backups. Deleted rows can survive in our database provider's encrypted backups until those backups rotate out, up to 30 days. They are not accessible from the app.
- Anonymous analytics and crash reports. Aggregated, non-identifying usage counts and crash diagnostics are not tied to your account and are not recovered or removed by account deletion.
